Join us on Thursday January 12, 2017 at 6:00PM at Rose Villa Restaurant. We will be celebrating the 2016 racing season, preparing for future events, discussing the bylaws and the race committee boat, and electing new officers.
All of the past commodore photos from the wall in the clubhouse have been professionally scanned to digital format, thanks to Bruce Moore. We have now uploaded all of the past Commodore photos to a gallery on the photos page.

80th Annual Turkeyfoot Lake Regatta ~ 2016
Portage Lakes Yacht Club hosted the 80th Annual Turkeyfoot Lake Regatta. The Turkeyfoot Lake Regatta was established in 1936, and has been alternately hosted since then by PLYC and SSYC.

NODRA World Championship Regatta August 18, 19,& 20, 2016
Leland Yacht Club in Leland, Michigan hosted the National One Design World Championship Regatta August 18, 19, & 20. Lake Leelanau is a beautiful place to sail. SSYC sailors took three of the top five places.
